I am from Finland and my German language is very poor... Can anyone help me?
This species is very rare here in Finland and my shop has two fish, i first thought that they are both males but closer look shows few differences. Lighter colored specimen has lot more bulky head and body shape is also different... What do you think? Best regards, Mikko Aalto |
He Mikko,
due to this single picture I'd say you've got two males. Both have very big pectoral and ventral fins, both look elegant and not as fat as a female should look like and the head shape doesn't show that many differences either. Try to feed them very good and take some new pictures after a while. If you've got a female, then it should be easier to see since it will get fatter. cheers, Daniel |
Darker one:

They are in 110x70x50cm tank, and no fights or bite marks... Length of both fishes is same(30cm).
Pectoral fins are little shorter with darker one (about 1,5cm). Dorsal is large with both fishes, but darker one has little shorter... |
Kann jemand helfen?
Can anyone else help? Best regards, Mikko Aalto |
