I write in English because I am from Denmark - but I fully understand German, so it's okay if you answer in your preferred language.
I have previously had a lot of problems with my breeding group of L134. The group consists of 8-9 males and 5 females and have a huge potential to give me a lot of fry. All the fishes are fully grown.
It wasn't a problem for me to get them to spawn. The fishes have in the last year spawned about 8-12 times. My problem was that the eggs wouldn't hatch. I tried a lot of different things but I found out that my water had a too high dH, and therefore I started to use 100% collected soft rainwater. As an extra softener for the water I used some oak leaves to lower the pH.
This worked for me, and they have now made 3-4 successfully spawns.
That last spawn consisted of 46 fry. I think this is a huge spawn from L134.
What is your experience with Peckoltia compta - L134, what is your biggest spawn??
