Hi all
Vielleich könnte jemand so lieb sein und mir das übersetzen, da mein englisch ja nicht so gut ist. Hier ist es:

Airstone/Air Pump
Contrary to popular belief, an airstone is NOT necessary for healthy tank function if running water is provided by means of a running filter. This is because only negligeable aeration is provided by bubbling; the large majority of oxygenation comes from diffusion through the water's surface, even if there is a tightly-fitting hood (so long as it's not airtight). Airstones and air pumps, in fact, are detrimental to planted tanks because they dissipate CO2 (CO2 concentration is independent of O2 concentration, and a tank can be saturated with both). Air pumps may be added to disease/hospital tanks just to increase circulation, and they may also power certain filters, but beyond that, it's more a matter of personal taste whether or not you like the look of bubbles in your tank. It also depends on whether your fish enjoy the extra aggitation, or, with fish like bettas, may be disturbed by it.

Lasst es mir bitte wissen. Ich möchte gerne lernen von Euch.
Nochmals vielen Dank im Voraus.

John
